My research focuses on the intersection of learning sciences, emerging technologies, and learner diversity. I aim to translate insights from the learning sciences into practice by understanding how learners learn and leveraging the affordances of new technologies to humanize the learning experience for all. My publications offer critical insights into the effective use of AI, the metaverse, and Large Language Models (LLMs), including the development of guidelines for digital equity, multimodal design, and human-centered engineered learning. My work was presented at leading conferences such as AERA, WERA, AECT, and CIES, exploring how education is adapting to major changes, including the post-COVID-19 era and the rise of Generative AI (GenAI).
